In short, the intent of the Orders is to reclaim a sense of covenant community within the clergy. The Order is to provide for regular gatherings for study and faith formation, be intentional about working at developing a unity of commitment to the mission and ministry of the United Methodist Church, help enable relationships of mutual support and trust and commit to hold one another accountable for the work God has called us to.
