A few individuals came to the Hunger Booth and made a donation. Wecredited their churches, which are included in the 29. Other churches walked in their own communities and sent the funds they raised directly to the Confr. Treasurer, earmarked Hunger Walk. Thank you, everyone! Now, the Hunger Walk is the compassion side of the ministry with hungry people. The justice side would be an Offering of Letters with Bread For the World (BFW). We invite you to come together in a group and write letters to your Senators and Members of the U.S.House of Representatives. Urge them to put into law the Administration's Global Development Policy. Collect the letters and offer them up to God, praying that the Holy Spirit would
inspire Congress to vote for this new foreign policy. Send the letters to the local offices of Senators and Representatives. The key component of a revised foreign policy would direct foreign aid to first fight poverty and hunger, corresponding with the views and expressed needs of recipient communities.
