Cal-Pac UMM Spring Conference
The annual Cal-Pac UMM Spring Conference (one-day retreat) will be hosted by the Riverside District UMM at the Redlands First UMC on Saturday, May 21, 2011. The theme for the day is "Service to God, Country, and Community." After a salute to those serving in the five branches of the US Military Service in recognition of Armed Forces Day, the group will hear a Keynote Address by Gil Hanke, newly appointed General Secretary of the United Methodist Men, in his first official visit to the Cal-Pac Conference. The day will include an opportunity to participate in break-out sessions led by Rev. Dr. John McFarland on Experiencing God: Knowing and Doing the Will of God; by Eaar Oden on Becoming a Man of Honor; and by Raymond Paul on UMM Scouting Ministries - Your Youth Ministries. The event will close with closing remarks by Gil Hanke and a service of Holy Communion.

2011 Annual Conference UMM Breakfast
The United Methodist Men will hold their annual breakfast during Annual Conference on Saturday, June 18 at 6:00 AM at First UMC of Redlands. The church is located at 1 E Olive Ave in Redlands, California. Tickets are $10 for everyone and may be purchased during registration for Annual Conference or from the UMM. Contact Lew Fry at revdrrlf@sbcglobal.net if you wish to attend but are not going to the Annual Conference session.
